RetroBright LED Headlights offer significant advantages over traditional sealed beam headlights, including plug-and-play compatibility that makes installation a breeze. Theres no need to cut or drill, as our low-profile housing design fits most shallow headlight buckets typical in classic cars. Moreover, LED technology ensures these lights take up less space, generate minimal heat, and use considerably less power than traditional headlights, all while delivering superior visibility and longevitylasting up to six times longer than halogens.
These headlights have been developed in close collaboration with Morimoto, leaders in lighting design, combining timeless aesthetics with the most advanced lighting technology available. A special PWM LED driver within each unit ensures the LEDs maintain their peak intensity even during prolonged use, ensuring reliable, intense light output. Specifically, this model is designed to provide a powerful 53,000 Candela for high beams, dramatically improving visibility for safer night driving.
The RetroBright LED headlight is compliant with SAE and DOT standards, featuring a no-glare beam pattern that meets stringent safety requirements. Its durability is further enhanced by a UV-treated polycarbonate lens, which is ten times stronger than glass and standard plastic, ensuring it can withstand the rigors of road use without damage.
Sold individually, these headlights are perfect for dual headlight vehicles (requiring 2 units) or quad headlight setups (requiring 4 units), and are compatible with sealed beam trade numbers 4000, 4040, H4001, H5001, H5006. Whether you’re looking for that warm, nostalgic hue of Classic White (3000K), a cleaner Bright White (5700K), or even a distinct yellow lens, RetroBright provides options to customize your vehicle’s appearance while upgrading its functionality.
Note: For vehicles with extremely shallow headlight buckets, compare your available space to the drawings found above to determine sufficient space. Not all years and vehicles will have the exact same dimensions due to year or manufacturing differences as well as potential modifications from previous owners. This model may not be direct plug-and-play with your application. An H820 Harness and unterminated male connector are included as a result. Single Filament High Beam Applications may require the use of the included adapter harness or the replacement of the vehicle-side female connector. See instructions for details.
